Undoubtedly, Carl Barks' ducks liked to eat. They did it frequently in the comic book stories, although the food seldom played any major role in the plots. Barks usually showed the intake of food just to have something for the ducks to do while they were talking. Consequently he probably did not think that much about what the ducks should eat. Of course they mostly stuck to good American cooking except for the odd Broiled Bosom Of Caledonian Chickadees (WDCS144) and other exotic delicacies such as froglegs from time to time.
