Western Publishing was a veritable factory of funny animal comic books in the so-called Golden Age and Silver Age spanning from approximately 1940 to 1975. Beside their well-established Disney flagships Four Color, Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, and Uncle $crooge, they churned out a sizable number of other Disney magazine series. Most of them were published occasionally and irregularly and they were predominantly special issues. This page presents a string of these various magazines in which Carl Barks was an important contributor.
