THE LOVE NEST (1936)
Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy are working as interior decorators and the latter two get the paints mixed up. Barks contributed a variety of gag drawings.
TIMID ELMER (1936)
The non-heroic Elmer Elephant rescues Tillie Tiger from a mad gorilla. Barks made numerous gags and sketches for their fight.
NORTHWEST MOUNTED (1936)
Black Pete kidnaps Minnie Mouse and tries to force her in show where a goldmine is. Mickey Mouse intervenes. Barks wrote the story and drew close to 400 storyboard sketches as well as model sheets for Mickey and his horse Tanglefoot.
NIGHTWATCHMAN DONALD (1937)
Donald Duck is a nightwatchman in a department store and has to chase a monkey. Barks wrote and storeboarded most of the cartoon.
INTERIOR DECORATORS (1937)
Donald Duck and his helper Gus Goose renovate a mansion. Barks wrote the story and made storyboard sketches. He even made a second storyboard featuring a Gyro Gearloos-like character instead of Gus.
YUKON DONALD (1938)
Donald Duck is chasing a baby walrus who is stealing fish from him. Barks did the storyboard only - the story already existed starring Mickey Mouse.
LOST PROSPECTORS (1938)
Donald Duck and Gus Goose star as prospectors in a barren desert and start to see mirages. The story was originally written by Barks in 1936 and called Desert Prospectors.
DONALD MUNCHAUSEN (1938)
Donald Duck brags to his nephews about his former feats in Africa. Barks was the Story Director but made only minor contributions.
TANGLEFOOT (1938)
Mickey Mouse races on his horse Tanglefoot but the race is sabotaged by Black Pete. The story was never storyboarded and Barks was probably just involved because of his prior work with the horse character in Northwest Mounted.
DONALD'S SHOOTING GALLERY (1938)
Donald Duck runs a rigged shooting gallery and the nephews are lured to spend their money. Barks did little work on this cartoon but he met Jack Hannah for the first time.
THE RUBBER HUNTER (1938)
Donald Duck gets frustrated with his bad car tires and he travels to South America to get some good rubber. Barks did gags and storyboard on this one.
THE BEAVER HUNTERS (1939)
Donald Duck and Pluto are beaver hunters facing a difficult time. Barks did very polished story and art sketches.
DONALD'S STRATOSPHERE FLIGHT (1939)
Donald Duck is trying to repair his hot air balloon before taking off. Barks did little work on this cartoon which originally was titled Balloon Race and starring Mickey Mouse.
TRAVELING SALESMAN DONALD (1940)
Donald Duck sells a worthless pearl to Black Pete who takes his revenge. Barks worked with Jack Hannah on this one.
SCULPTOR DONALD (1941)
Donald Duck makes a wax sculpture of a general but it is sabotaged by the nephews. Barks made the storyboard sketches.
MADAME XX (1942)
Donald Duck acts as courier for the war office but is seduced by a beautiful female spy. Barks did the sketches with some help from Jack Hannah.
DONALD'S TANK (1942)
Donald Duck accidentially drives a tank into German lines in order to get away from sergeant Black Pete. Barks did a memorable parody of Hitler in this cartoon.
