Carl Barks wrote large numbers of letters during his lifetime. It was in the days before email, when you were required to prepare, write, and post your letters using different means of expression such as pen or typewriter. But a small portion of his correspondence was of a more special nature, as he would sometimes send drawings to friends and colleagues as unique greetings. This website already carries several examples of this type of salutations that were sent to specific people, and on this page you are treated to even more.
Please note that the artwork seen on this page are primarily Barks' initial loose sketches, most of which have not aged well, which explains the poor reproduction quality.
