This concept idea would most probably have been developed into a 10-pager starring Donald Duck. It is plausible that Barks' eldest daughter Peggy contributed some input; at least he wrote her name in the margin (se more HERE).

The main plot is that of the nephews urging Donald to take them on a vacation, but he refuses. Then they play tricks on him night after night to make him believe that he is sleep walking. Finally, Donald succumbs to the thought that he must need a vacation. They all have a wonderful vacation, although Donald is unable to understand why his nephews sleep all the days away.
