Some of the primary characters in Carl Barks' funny animal comic book stories tend to be perceived as less than successful in several situations. But although they may be seen in an unflattering light, they have all had their red-letter days as well. Daisy tries to find a person who needs decent clothes to wear, and she winds up in the hobo community outside Duckburg. She then furnishes the most needy person with new clothes.


FC1055 Donald's Party

Donald invites Daisy to a Come-as-you-are party at the exact moment when she is trying out a new party dress. When she meets the other partygoers she has changed into rags, while they are dressed in party clothes. When a photographer announces his arrival Daisy soon turns the other partygoers into raggedy characters like herself.


FC1055 The Librarian

Daisy has one of her very few paying jobs; she is a librarian and has to collect an overdue book from Scrooge. But a real live lion guards it. Still, it does not take long for the resourceful girl to figure out how to solve that problem!


WDCS150 'The Valentine's Day Letter'

Daisy is a genuinely helpful person with a big heart, a trait she displayed on a number of occasions. In this story Donald admits to having lost a Valentine's Day letter addressed to her, but she still takes the exhausted and chilled Donald under her wing, and she even warms him up in the oven! Then he is treated to a whole box of chocolates.


WDCD Dainty Daredevil

Daisy seeks a new job and a fortuneteller tells her that she is destined for high places. So, naturally, she becomes an acrobat on an airplane! You can't get a higher position than that, eh?


WDCS213 'Spring-cleaning'

Donald is doing whatever he can in order to avoid being forced to take part in Daisy's yearly spring-cleaning. But the determined lady does not give up; she uses the JW hound to track him down!


U$68 Hall of the Mermaid Queen

After mermen have captured Donald, the nephews, and Scrooge, Daisy dives down to rescue them using a woman's most powerful weapon - an arsenal of makeup! She rescues them all...
