This is a page about Carl Barks' graphical renderings or mentionings of Gods and Demigods* in his stories from the duck universe. It is somewhat surprising to learn how often Barks in fact referred to deities in a variety of ways considering that such beings are more prone to interest adults than the children that were supposed to be the main audience for funny animal comic book stories at the time. And, of course, many of the references must have gone over the readers' heads. Still, Barks managed to make many of his most memorable stories using deities as important role-players.
