When the term 'Inventor' pops up in your mind in connection with Carl Barks' comic book stories you are sure to think of Gyro Gearloose as the first - and probably the only! But Barks presented us with several other inventors in the stories. None were as outstanding as Gyro, of course, but still they deserve to be mentioned. Some of them made brilliant inventions that should not be forgotten. This page is dedicated to a collection of Gyro's fellow inventors from both the professional and not so professional ranks.

THE PROFESSIONALS
Many of the professional inventors made stunning gadgets that almost equalled Gyro's ingenuity. Barks gave us the names of many of these, but many of them remain anonymous. They were not only not mentioned by name - many were not even illustrated. Both groups are represented here.
