With a colossal production of more than 50,000 comic book story panels from the Disney duck universe, it is only logical that Carl Barks was bound to repeat himself from time to time. Some of the time he did so deliberately with whole stories (see The Recycling), and at other times he did it on a sequential scale (see The Running Gags). But Barks would also draw similar panels in different stories purely by chance. Of course, it would have been totally impossible for him to remember that he had done a certain posture or action in an earlier story, and on this page a few examples have been collected. You will be able to find many more examples when you browse the stories by yourself.

* Interestingly, the Alaska State Troopers' police force
carry a similar image as an emblem on their patrol vehicles!
