Donald Duck's three nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, were mainly portrayed in two different ways in Carl Barks' comic book stories. Either they were the kids that their general appearances led us to believe, or they acted more like responsible adults in small bodies. This page contains examples of the nephews' toys in their 'role' as kids, and it is interesting to see that Barks did not always just draw the toys as mere background - sometimes they even played leading parts...
NB.: In this page you will only find the kind of the nephews' leisure-time objects that one usually refers to as playthings. Other of the nephews' interests such as books, TV, games, sports, and pets are not subjects here. Due to the large amount of material to choose from it has been decided to place the chosen stories into loose classifications containing just 4 examples in each group.
