A treasure need not be a shiny object worth a lot of money. A treasure can be almost anything that an individual values highly though others might not value it at all. This page concentrates foremost on presenting a small selection of special (and sometimes odd) treasures from Carl Barks' stories that are not necessarily of much value to an outsider - mixed with a few truly valuable artefacts according to general standards.

PRIMARY CHARACTERS

Although Scrooge owns many very valuable treasures all over the planet - plus a 500-miles-in-diameter solid gold moon in orbit!!! - he sees his first dime as his most important treasure.

We are never shown an object that The Nephews especially cherish. Still they do possess the book with all the knowledge in the world - the Junior Woodchucks Guide book.

Undoubtedly, Gladstone sees himself as a treasure of luck, but on rare occasions he is known to use good luck charms to maintain his luck. A horseshoe, for example...

Absent-minded Gyro would probably not consider any of his inventions as the unique treasures they really are. And the greatest one must be Little Helper.

Poor Donald has no treasures to speak of in the whole world - except for Toots. This is his affectionate nickname for his charming girlfriend Daisy...

...and of course Daisy, the incorrigible romantic soul, in turn keeps all the love letters that have ever been written to her - by Gladstone...
