In 1994 Carl Barks visited 11 European countries in a promotion trip arranged by the worldwide Danish Disney publishing giant Egmont. He stayed in Denmark's capital Copenhagen for 5 days (June 9-13) and the itinerary was packed with multiple official program elements such as artist meetings, press interviews, autograph sessions, and sightseeing.
Everywhere Barks appeared he was greeted by fans, cheered by school-classes, and photographed by endless numbers of enthusiastic townspeople. On this page you are presented to a fraction of the immortilizations as seen through the photo lenses of excited Danes.
