THE WELL-KNOWN CHARACTERS

Most of the recurrent characters in Barks' stories are ducks, but still Barks managed to 'equip' several of them with beehives, curls, and powder-puffs that positively resembled hair more than just ruffled feathers.

Barks' most used character, Donald Duck, has no apparent hair on his head, but Barks did on several occasions 'make up' for this by presenting Donald in stories in which he wore a variety of wigs and disguises. Here are some examples.
