DISNEY REQUESTS

One of Barks' Disney friends, George R. Sherman, popped the occasional letter to Barks inquiring if he has able and willing to take in some duck comic book work. This is one of those letters. It was probably extra hard for Barks to turn down Sherman, as it was he who had granted Barks the unprecedented and highly lucrative license to paint the Disney ducks the year before!
