DISNEY CELEBRATIONS

Barks was regularly invited to attend some of the many festivities held by Disney primarily in the theme parks. Invitations to be an honoured guest at the annual Disney Legends ceremonies was a recurring request, but Barks turned down most of them (but not these ones HERE (bottom half) and HERE!). Not surprising, as he was an old man with decreasing health. This is the last invitation - issued as a personal letter from chairman Roy E. Disney - followed by Barks' response.
