Through the years, Carl Barks himself has become a cottage industry. Many serious and well-meaning companies (and individuals) have created great products which pay tribute to an outstanding man and his life's work. Inevitably they have also been fortune hunters selling low-value products but their products are not interesting in this forum. This page will deal only with worthwhile collectible items which had Barks' approval.

On this page you will be able to present your own unique memorabilia. You will be able to show your items to Barks lovers around the world. The page is NOT to be used as a marketplace for buying and selling used items in general, i.e. comics and secondhand books, except in those few instances when Barks might have signed them and thereby approved the material.

If you have a unique Barks-collectible that you wish to sell, you are welcome to contact the website and tell about it. It will then be decided - solely by the editor - if it can be included and how. As for the pricing - you will have two options: You can state a fixed price or you could call for an auction in which the price is not fixed. Write to Peter Kylling at cbarks@cbarks.dk.
The actual trading will not be conducted on this website as it was never intended to be neither a marketplace nor a 'swap-shop'. The website merely establishes a forum for the seller and a place to display his/her collectibles. After that it will be entirely between the seller and the buyer. After the closing of a deal the seller will of course have to contact the website in order to have the item removed from the page.

Important: This page is only a pilot project in the interest of having an open forum of displaying and exchanging worthy collectibles. It could be closed down without warning if interest is weak - or non-existent. It's up to you...
