The booklet was produced by Inter-Governmental Philatelic Corporation in 1998 for the 50th anniversary of the 1st appearance of Uncle Scrooge in 'Christmas On Bear Mountain'. IGPC had been producing Disney stamps for 20 years. The booklet was only on sale for about 8 months when IGPC lost the Disney licence (which they've just recovered, I understand). I picked up the last 100 booklets between flights in Munich, Germany, in late June, 1999, just before the licence expired and no more could be sold. Carl agreed to sign a total of 91 booklets in 2 editions. I have just a few left in each edition:
The 'gold' edition is 35 copies signed in 'gold pen' on the booklet face, UNnumbered, but also includes a SIGNED (in gold pen) color photo of Carl holding one of the signed booklets. (The photo on your right).
The 'regular' edition is 50 copies, signed in black pen on the booklet face with an UNsigned 5x7" colour photo of Carl holding one of the signed booklets.
There are 6 proofs which include both the signed (in gold pen) booklet and photo. These are numbered P1/6-6/6.

The SIGNED & Numbered 'regular' edition of 50 copies is $175 each and the 'gold' edition of 35 copies is $250 each. The 'gold' edition contains 2 signatures...one on the booklet itself and the other on the colour photo of Carl holding one of the signed booklets (both signatures in gold pen). These are the ONLY booklets that Carl signed.
