Barks was certainly not alone in drawing Donald Duck stories and covers while working for Western. Numerous artists tried their hand drawing the ducks, but only a few stayed on for any period of time. Needless to say, none of them ever came close to the eminent stories from Barks' hand but they all had their special approaches and significant styles. The more remarkable of them are listed below.
