THE LEADERS

One of the most distinct features in the Junior Woodchucks' movement is their never-ending use of impressive uniforms and elaborate decorations. Even more sensational is their - seemingly - infinite numbers of leaders. Here are some of the movement's numerous well-dressed and heavily decorated leaders.

Following his official retirement in 1966, Barks wrote and sketched a number of stories for the new comic book series titled The Junior Woodchucks. Below you are presented to a small collection of leaders from some of these stories. First you are shown Barks' original sketch and then the inking artist's rendering.
