Carl Barks was often interviewed about his comic book stories and he kindly answered the questions to the best of his ability. This means that we can today read about many of his thoughts and actions about the time the stories were created*. This is especially true for Barks' long Uncle Scrooge adventures, which have always seemed to appeal more to his readers' curiosity and inquisitiveness.
In January 1979 Barks was interviewed at length by American publisher Edward Summer about some of these long adventure stories. The sub-pages bring you excerpts of Barks' recollections. It is assumed that you already know the chosen stories.

* This website has several pages in which Barks comments on his stories. Examples are The Favourites and The Reflections.
