The ducks (and a number of other characters) went on countless trips and expeditions to faraway locations in Carl Barks' comic book stories. Many of the destinations were clearly recognizable, while others were purely fictional, but you are never in any doubt as to approximately where the actions take place. Thus it should be a relatively simple task to make a complete list of the characters' travellings abroad. And here they are!

Important:
1. In the majority of Barks' stories the characters are somewhere in the USA (although they may very well be travelling about that vast country). There would be little point in listing their often very unclear whereabouts in the USA, so these pages do not include the USA that existed when the stories were published (meaning that the stories from Alaska and Hawaii are present because they became members of the union at a later date).
2. Barks mentioned many more foreign locations in his stories than those listed here (examples: New Guinea, Holland, and Greenland). In these pages there will 'only' be a showing of the places that he actually drew. This also means that the obvious and necessary passageways to and from the destinations (such as the Atlantic Ocean when sailing to Africa) are not included.
